All pottery classes are mixed ability from beginners to more advanced students.
Beginner will be taken through the basic techniques of hand building with clay- pinching, coiling and slab building before progressing to the potters wheel.
Students can pursue their own projects if they wish, but each term Melissa will set a project, for you to pursue if you wish.

Students can join the pottery classes at any time depending on availability, paying for the number of classes left in the term. Please provide a post dated cheque on the last day of term to secure your place on the following terms course. A fee of £1.50 per lb of fired clay will be charged for finished work. Please try to bring an apron and a hand towel to every class.
